I guess you've never heard of the divine rights of kings or royal blood. Haile Selassie was held in a higher regard than any other African leader for this very reason.

Ruto want to finish with Raila and Kalonzo now - so everything become smooth sailing political from now on. He get his IEBC and establish law & order. Then political risks from Raila endless drama will be zero.

Speculations! I believe Rao is not interested in Ruto's government. What the old man want is to sabotage the activity of the current regime, gain masses then overthrow it. When you have masses you have power. His engagement in the demo is to trap the guy with ICC, this is happening if the buffoon called Riggy-G can't act up!

Ruto got a nation that had won several rare reviews; like the first most dynamic city in Africa and whatnot. It takes money to do that. The economy was in ramshackle at the cost of stellar infrastructure. Ruto was in government in the first term when debt balooned to a whooping 40% to GDP, the beginning of an economic dilemma. I said this to say that; the government's mess was attributed by both Uhuru, Raila and Ruto. Although, the vision of Ruto is to pull us from this Quagmire; which I welcome wholeheartedly.
