fmc umuhia is far better than fmc owerri. easy to see a specialist on same day on like owerri where u have to wait for one month plus before u can be attended to

Great news, Nigeria citizens keep breaking barriers even in the midst of highly corrupt, greedy and hopeless government at the centre
Which hopeless govt at the center? Is it not the same govt at the center that built and equipped the FMC? Is it not the same govt that trained the Doctors at subsidized rate? This self hate need to stop.

The Guilty run when and where no one pursues!

Your leaders have no faith in the educational, security and healthcare sectors of this very nation they steal and loot from!

...Well, that's why they loot and steal from the nation in the first place!

You have to actually believe there is no future for yourself and your generation in a nation for you to rob and strip that nation's treasury to the last dime!

Ekweremandu should have stayed in Biafuro.

This is what other Nigerians want to hear. A whole region wouldn't be a cesspit that people flee and worship Lagos like London.

President Obi.... please give us opening prayer for our Online Republic.
Please, what hospital does the President-elect use in Lagos?!!

...I wan check something!

He was afraid of the after effect. Who knows how they manage patients post op or even how the patients are doing. Medical anything is scary in Nigeria because we do not have well equipped facilities( equipment, trained no of medical staff, medicine, etc) to entirely carry out a successful operations.

For instance, common epidural during labour is a challenge in Nigeria. I know two people who still have spinal pains several years after being administered in good private hospitals in naija o. So leaving the hospital alive doesn't mean it was successful. The aftermath is another ball game....

The land of the rising sun.

While they running a government of agberos and hatred in their region, igbos are gradually putting things together to become self sufficient in a few years time.

With this awareness on Nairaland, I can guarantee you that by the end of this year they would be running kidney transplants in that hospital on a weekly basis.

This report is full of nothing but optimism. Knowing how Nigeria works, I would like to see a comprehensive report. 11 so called successful transplants. How many of the patients lived up to five years after the transplant?

You conducted 11 successful surgeries Ok. How many surgeries were unsuccessful? How many?

For instance, if you conducted 100 surgeries and only 11 are successful, can you really be said to be successful?

So how many of those surgeries were unsuccessful? Give us a full report. Stop trying to pull a wool over our eyes.
