ONE thing Managers should never do




As managers, we are responsible for leading our teams respectfully and professionally.

One thing we should never do is rebuke our subordinates in public.

Even if we forget ourselves, please go back and publicly apologize/reconcile.

There is no point in publicly humiliating someone and privately apologising.

We might unwittingly create a bad image for the person involved.

Even worse, we might create an image of ourselves that we don't want.

As leaders, it's important to set an example of how to treat others with dignity and respect, even when we're frustrated or upset.

In my opinion, there's no excuse for publicly humiliating someone in the workplace.

It can help to create a culture of trust and transparency within your team.

So, let's commit to leading with respect and professionalism, even when facing difficult situations.

And if we do make a mistake, let's have the courage to apologise and reconcile publicly.
