Ansu papa just Dey throw tantrum anyhow. The problem with this era of football is you either show up or you get out, especially for clubs like Barca, Madrid, Chelsea etc. These clubs will find it hard to keep relying on “he will show up one day” for any player when other talented players are out there and ready to deliver.

I feel that if Ansu were to be lucky to be injury free and got to play with Messi for two consecutive seasons, he would have understood himself and gameplay better.

I believe that Ronaldinho’s presence at Barcelona during Messi formative year (and of course Guardiola) helped Messi transitioned from the young upcoming prospect to the star he is today.

I watched some clips showing the incredible combination between Messi and Ronaldinho destroying other team before Ronaldinho left. And Ronaldinho’s reactions to Messi whenever Messi does incredible stuff on the field were always great, which I am sure were one of the things that boosted Messi’s morale.

Ansu and Messi were getting similar vibes until Ansu injury struck and Messi had to leave. Now it’s hard for him to find that kind of mentorship or partnership from someone the people had hoped he would replace.

I hope he gets his mojo back quickly sha because before he knows it, he’s being shipped off to Real Betis or Espanyol. I hope it doesn’t happen because I really have so hopes on him.

On a more serious note, he's still a youngster (he just turned 22 few months ago) he'll learn and get better... This I'm very sure of. The boy is intelligent and hardworking.

Mehn... his over the top balls are superb...he might just take over from Busquets because I don't see how we're going to sign Zubimendi.

Busquets will probably renew on a lower salary and Eric might just play second fiddle to him and learn more. Xavi is already playing him as Dm in training

Yes i believe this is the plan. Cos i don't see laporta splashing the cash on zubi and there are no other top prospects in the market available on the cheap.

I strongly believe that Eric will come good as a DM. Kimmich started as a centre back at first.. he's now one of the best DMs in the world, if not the best.

I somewhat agree with you boss, Xavi seems scared sometimes to try out the youth over the established players especially in games that are dead rubber or look already won, See our latest signings sef Inigo Martinez and gundogan who are well into their 30s, Not saying they're not great coups considering our financial plights but he should learn to trust the youth more
