A spokesman for Peter Obi and member of the LP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has confirmed the authenticity of the leaked conversation between Peter Obi and a popular cleric, however Obi’s spokesman claimed in a series of tweets, that it was not necessarily a case of religious bigotry.

This came shortly after some LP supporters popularly known as ‘Obidients’ tried to deny and disprove the leaked conversation.
