Civil society would do its bit but it would never eliminate their existence. In the Western World, school confraternities are to enable students to fraternize and gain useful experiences and valuable connections that will better their lives after the university experience. But in my country Nigeria, the sole purpose of confraternities is to boost their useless ego and kill each other for no reason at all. I just wish this will change and the sole purpose will become to compete academically.
