Uniben is a useless school. As a fresh medical graduate from Unilag, I went for house job interview at UBTH. I got to Benin at night and contacted a brother to my ex-girlfriend who was a student. He came to meet me at the gate and said we have to go to reading room inside this same hostel where this fool was killed.
I asked why can't we go to his place outside the hostel at ekosodin he said its risky that student often move in droves at exactly 10pm from inside campus to ekosodin after night reading. So he kept reading while I stayed busy with my phone. At about some few minutes to 10pm school security came into the reading room and started kicking students who slept off while reading while wielding pump action gun, i was shell shocked at that barbaric act. They threatened students to get out in few minutes rained abuses on those they kicked. I wanted to challenge them but I kept my cool since they didnt come close to me.
Such act can never happen in UNILAG. I was later told by that boy that its how they behave and most of the security men are NBM cultists.
This guy was killed by one of those school security considering the way and manner he was killed, I am very sure of that because those Aiye controls the school security.
Uniben is not a school but a jungle with lots of brilliant students who often doesn't get to maximize their potentials.
