In a statement on Wednesday, the LP Presidential Candidate said: “Let me reiterate that the audio call being circulated is fake, and at no time throughout the campaign and now did I ever say, think, or even imply that the 2023 election is, or was a religious war.

Reading Perter Obi's write up, I dont think he is denying having a convo with Bishop Oyedepo, but that they never had a conversation where he said the election was a Religious War.
