Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has urged Ndi Anambra and Nigerians to express their love and affection for one another during the Easter season.

The Governor emphasized that considering one's own life and recommitting to establishing a better society in which love, tolerance, forgiveness, peace, and unity will prevail is necessary in light of the significance of Easter.

He emphasized once more how significant Easter is to the Christian faith. Christ provided Himself as the lamb sacrificed to atone for the sins of the world through His death. He redeemed mankind through His resurrection, which increased our faith in eternal life.

While pointing out that it is a time of discipline and sacrifice, the Governor urged the people to celebrate modestly and to keep in mind those who are less fortunate than themselves.

As a result, Governor Soludo advised Nigerians to emulate the virtues of forbearance, forgiveness, kindness, humility, love, peace, and patience that Jesus Christ displayed by giving Himself up for crucifixion.

He also enjoined them to spread love and joy during this time and in the future. He specifically asked Ndi Anambra for assistance in realizing the lofty goal of creating a state where everyone could live in peace and prosperity.
