His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi was at Jesus House, London to observe the Easter solemnity. Here's where the Pastor recognized his presence in the church but initially addressed him as 'The President' which elicited cheers from the congregation.

He retraced himself and the congregation already picked up on that, their cheers drowning him out. That left a humbled Obi signalling his thanks to all and a flustered Pastor who could not stop guffawing even after the congregation cheers died down.

Moment RCCG pastor Irukwu introduced Obi as ‘president’ in London

Pastor Agu Irukwu of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Sunday referred to Peter Obi as “President.”

The senior pastor of the Jesus House for All Nations Parish in Brent Cross, London, made the error during church service.

Introducing Obi, Irukwu said: “And we have the president, ah, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.

“We always appreciate Mr Peter Obi. God, we appreciate him, we appreciate him.”

In spite of their leader’s slip of the tongue, the congregation erupted in cheers and many church members got up for an ovation.

The former Anambra governor, who remained seated, joined the pastor and hundreds of worshippers in laughter over the error.

Obi is in court to challenge the outcome of the February 25 presidential election won by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.

I noticed that white people don't attend churches owned by black people (Nigerians) in their country.

In fact, TB Joshua and Anselm Madubuko were the only Nigerian preachers I know that white people massively attend their churches.
