Naggelsman did not have issues with majority of the squad. Sure, he butted heads with Neuer but the other big names respected him. Kimmich rated him as top 3 coaches he had ever worked with and you know all the coaches Kimmich has worked with.

Bayern fired Naggelsman because they did not want to lose out on signing Tuchel and partly because they feared that Pep will get the better of him.
