I made a thread about this same road in June 19, 2021; when the road was totally bad and the drainage system then was ZERO.

Roughly 2 Years after repairs, same flood still rock Akowonjo Road, Jimoh Bus Stop


We are in true distress, who did this to us

It has been like this since time immemorial yet u say y’all have a working govt??

Plus I heard alimosho local govt chairman is the best LG chairman in Lagos

Lagos state government need to do new road in Akowonjo, shasha Egbeda axis, this is bad for very long time. And the people that can use state connection to make sure the road was reconstruct with closet drainage are very corrupt people, that's the person of Orelope family, which their daughter was fomer deputy governor of the state and one of their useless son just crowns Oba of Egbeda, and same stupid' son of the family with evil character just elected for house of assembly.

it's just unfortunately for the people in these environment that those that can use the state connection to fix this road are from very corrupt family with people with evil and wicked character

I will never forget the rain of 2011 or probably 2012 that fell for seven days. A house in that Vulcanizer bus stop street was swallowed by flood and it was there freezer I and two other guys used to rescue the occupants
