Odegaard is a midfielder. He has his purpose as a part of the midfield, with or without producing attacking returns.

He is not a CM. I wouldn't want him in my team cos he lets Manure down in quite a few games, however I'm on record as stating that Bruno and Muller are the only players I will give free role to because the benefit is worth the tactical cost. I will still bench Bruno in big games though, but Muller does the work in all games.
