Labour Party Crisis: Court Refuses To Lift Abure’s Suspension As National Chairm by afroniger(op): 8:22pm On Apr 17, 2023

Justice Hamza Muazu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court has refused to vacate an interim order restraining the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, the National Secretary, Farouk Ibrahim and two others from parading themselves as leaders of the party.

He rather fixed April 20 to take all applications in respect of the case amidst a call by counsel of the embattled national officers of the party to have the matter heard speedily.

The counsel to Abure, Alex Ejesieme, had prayed the court to vacate the interim order and restore a semblance of sanity after a takeover of the Labour Party national secretariat by another faction.

The senior lawyer said the division in the party following the interim order has worsened to the point that four groups in the Imo State chapter of the Labour Party held parallel primaries.

Justice Muazu by way of intervention however ordered all parties in the suit to ensure speedy filing of their processes for a speedy hearing of the case.

Obi people don't know the problem Abure dey so.

He was alleged to have forged a withdrawal letter of one LP man in Edo that won LP reps ticket

Another woman that was in apc primaries and lost and didn't partake in LP primaries bribed Abure to give him an already taken reps seat

Abure forged the man withdrawal letter in court, this case I don't know how obi party that is full of fraud would blame apc for this

Abure case is strong o, it's the LP man he cheated that they should be begging to drop the case

Abure is joking with jail. All this his grandstanding will end up putting him in more trouble. He has criminal case of perjury and forgery yet he is still violating a lawful court order. He should go and ask Sen Ayu why he walked away quietly.

Honestly speaking labour party is a big scam. They are complete opposite of what we assumed of them with the everyday revelations across the states and national i think pdp isn't even terrible like this.
