It's the economy, stupid! What can 5,000 a month pocket-money afford a family in an economy burdened with about 25% inflation rate?

If this is what Buhari government borrowed 800 million dollars to do, it pretty much means folks in this regime will cream off 70% of that borrowed dollars. More money for Dubai, more houses in Abuja and more wives to their already bunch of harem.

Who discovered Nigeria? APC or Mongo Park?
Wait a minute brother. They are not saying everybody will get 5k ooooo. So the first thing should be who are the people that will get the 5k ? Before we start talking about whether it is enough or not. Besides, how do we know if there are real people, not ghost that will be collecting this 5k monthly.

I am all for subsidy removal, but this so called 'welfare' is a very terrible idea even if it would reach its intended target not to mention IT WOULD OBVIOUSLY NOT.

D reason we are removing d subsidy in d First place is due to high service loans & paucity of funds...Then da hell are we taking another loan undecided

Who is paying who, let them not try this shiiiiiittttt o, how do they come about the names of the poorest Nigerians. The only way for transparency is to allow Nigerians to register online and get the money directly to them, else, these people will turn it to political game and start using it for campaign.

Please if you know how we can stop them or write petition to stop them, please let's act fast. Eevil must not prevail

Where's that ihordspy? Hope agbadorians know some beneficiaries of this largesse? This is what you get when a corrupt government removes subsidy. Audio palliative, Instead of investing in modular refineries. They even borrowed the money to share. What a country.

I tire for Nigeria. A good alternative for petrol is producer gas or wood gas. It can be produced with a stratified bed downdraft gasifier which is easy to build.
