Vinnie2000:Rubbish. Nigeria is changing for good and irreversibly. Issues are now existential. Nigeria cannot go on for much longer unless leaders start delivering solutions. Debts to our eyeballs, dangerously divided citizenry, economic stagnation, worthless currency that should actually be one of the ost valuable in Africa and the world. Etc, etc. With all that, it is amazing some of you keep talking of Kalu , Wike and co, as potential Presidential successors in 8 years time. I just think you guys have zero sense of working with reality or you are just very poor analysts. Any President genuinely desirous of progress for Nigeria must know that unbundled the nation, through restructuring and more autonomy for States and regions, is the inevitable way forward. Tinubu does not even need 4 years to implement fundamental changes Nigerians themselves will fight to retain that Shettima or anyone else will not be able to reverse. Afterall, how long did it take Awolowo to revolutionise the SW? Once you people accept the future of Nigeria is local you will stop the idiocy of talking as if a strong centre, headed by an overpowerful Presidency, will remain in place forever. 2 Likes |
