It depends on the industry amongst other things,hope she has some certifications as well ( you know the environment). Average anything from 400k but like I said it depends on the industry. Also make sure you do your research before interview, even if they have a range so you will not be shortchanged.

Remember, I asked which industry? If you do a salary grade for that level what will the outcome be? However, put out the vacancy and up it a bit say 280/300 that should be fair. The cost/process of hiring is cumbersome. Imagine getting one for your desired amount and the person gets a better offer and leaves almost immediately. If your organisation has a better Evp (employee value proposition) that could help.

Sometimes this thing is industry related, not all companies can afford that budget. That is why I also mentioned what the Evp is like, I still saw the same opening today and the pay is lesser than what you mentioned above.

In my own interpretation, the opening is for a Senior HR who will be managing a large team of HR personnels or maybe a Senior HR managing a large organization.
Either ways, 500k isn't suitable, no matter the industry.

A senior HR in my organization earns between 19 million - 30 million per annum

Lucky you, besides the Ioc/Mnc and some people in Tech only few indigenous company''s can afford to really pay that industry standard salary. Forget that "large team" thing , it tilts more toward responsibility/jd than translating to pay in itself.
