You sound frustrated brother. The two cases are quite different and unrelated. Any Yoruba man that feels he has a stake or the political clout to win in Imo state should not hesitate to contest. Any Yoruba man (in Imo state) that has the kind of support that GRV had( in Lagos state) should step out make we see. As you know, nobody begged you guys to vote for GRV. His supporters were willing to vote him in without any inducement of any sort.

The problem I have is not even zoning from presidency to governorship...!

That's funny. GRV is an indigene of Lagos and has a stake there hence his quest to be Lagos state governor. He also belonged to a political party and participated in the party's primary. Let any Yoruba man that has same stake in Imo state show up make we see.

Confusion has already started among them. They hate themselves to death. Even if they get their Biafra region , they will still be fighting among themselves. It reminds me during OBJ regime where they produced up 5 senate president within 8 year's

Well I haven't heard of such in my state/Lagos state. Maybe others are doing it but it makes no sense. You won't have true leadership if you start zoning it.

I don't know your state, but every state has their peculiarities. Lagos is unique because those who govern Lagos are not even from Lagos State. Despite that, leadership is often rotated between Muslims and Christians.

By the way, a district/zone in state has a lot of qualified people. All the incumbent governor needs to do is grown someone from a district, and he continues from where the governor stopped. Leadership is no rocket science; our problem is that the worst of us are running the country.

Well, you do have some good points, but regardless, if you choose to apply that logic to governance in general, it would be hard to produce people who truly want to lead and often times, the best and most qualified won't always get the position...

Ohaji/Egbema, Ngor/Okpala.
Also neither of Uzodinma nor Okorocha is from Orlu lga. But still Orlu zone. Owerri candidate had to drop ticket for Udenwa in 1998 so Orlu can have their fair share of governance but cunny don enter their head leading to insecurity.

Orlu zone not orlu Lga, proudly Ideato orlu zone, you can’t win Imo governorship without orlu zone giving you above 50% vote

Their's a current Lagos senator who also won senatorial seat in his home state, Ogun i think. Linus Okorie was in HOR for a lagos constituency before contesting Imo guber. Osun, Ondo and 1 other has igbo wife/mother.
GRV can go to any igbo state and contest without problems if he is from there or he has the popularity.

He can't be anything in Lagos again because of his past. You can't use a tribal slur word on your people and expect the same people to vote for you.
By the way, he is a Baby , compared to Sanwoolu.

Ogbaku and nwaorieubi follow for the large towns? And they have more population than the likes of orji, ulakwo, obinze, emekuku, Naze, world bank, umuguma in owerri? Are you also counting foreigners and passersby or just indigenes?

Okigwe is a Municipal Local Government Area, same as Orlu.
But the two governors, Hope and Rochas, from Orlu senatorial district rendered Okigwe and Orlu nearly useless.
