Pls, I just bought a Toyota Matrix 2004 and realized it does not have custom paper. I intend to go interstate with it once in a while. How can I get custom papers?

...most interstate road custom they dey.. If u do mistake enter abeokuta ibadan road with out custom paper....U don enter one chance

How can customer paper be gotten for a car that has been in Nigeria for a long time?

Is it a Nigerian used or tokunbo. I met a custom officer on this and he told me that people protested against especially Nigeria used vehicle that has been long.
He said it only meant for new vehicles.

You can get affidavit to cover for it according to him. But you know all these officers on the road. There case is something else

They hardly ask. All you need to do is dress well and look decent when travelling.

Get an affidavit. (In case)

And be a bit friendly /chatty if they (rare) find a reason to ask you to park.

it doesn’t have customs paper doesn’t mean you haven’t been doing registration yearly naa. That’s proof enough

It’s 7 years…not 4 years.

Been driving interstate for a while now.... Used two cars.... Nobody ever asked of my custom paper as much as I do meet custom Road block on the road but to be on safer side.... Do affidavit
