I agree that chude and other political commentators peddle unconfirmed information at times.

But what I don't like is the biased & malicious punishment metted out by the government on all who do this.

Recall that FFK in early Feb 2023 claimed that a Presidential candidate was in cahoots with military officers to take over power.

Little was done to him. He's since made many other unfounded claims.

Chude (who can also be flimsy) made a claim which hasn't even been verified — something has to be verified before it can be deemed false — and they've wielded the hammer on him.

Surety sums don't go to the coffers of the government until there is breach, then the bail sum is called in and paid. So a bail in the sum of N100m doesn't mean that sum is paid upfront.
