What Is Delaying The Tribunal From Starting ? by chivic(op): 8:56pm On Apr 24, 2023
Ideally, the tribunal should have started this week or at least fixed a date for it.I hope someone has not paid them to delay the process. Both the "winner"and the "losers"agreed that the next right thing to do is to go to court. Why then is the court delaying? are they scared?I hope when they eventually start, they will not give excuse that they can't televise it because the court are not well equiped . We need to be watching the judges like they way we watched Adamawa REC taking the bulls by the horn to announce a frivolous result.E get why?

Why would you want the court proceedings to take a year plus

Shouldn't you be in the fore front of making sure the court proceedings be done quickly or at most 90 days so that Tinubu can settle down and face governance squarely

Tribunal trial is 180 days, from Tribunal to SC.

Due to the large volume of witnesses that would be admitted at court, Supreme court ruling have no stipulated time

SC ruling should take a year plus.

You see, those are the things oppositions neglected before the election with the new electoral act

Yes the law stipulated 180 but can't it be concluded within 90 days

A serious candidate filling for presidential petition would have nothing less than 50,000 witnesses. That's one candidate oo.

The 90 days is not possible. Also suspense would be attached even after reaching their conclusions early

How? 3 candidates with 50k each witnesses. Not necessary they appear in court in person but they must have sworn an oath before including them in the affidavits

Only in Nigeria do arm rubbers celebrate the successes of their operation in the public. Is Nigeria as a country really cursed?

Tinubu will settle down and face governance squarely; the tribunal is not enough to distract him undecided

Of course, we all want him to settle down and face governance but the early signs are not suggesting that. He just returned from a well deserved rest only to tell us again that he wants to rest, eat amala and sleep.
