Realguyman1:It means Nigerians who live aboard and send money to their families in Nigeria. It has nothing to do with the corrupt government. If our government can be serious for once and yahoo boys stop tarnishing our image, we can stay in our Nigerian homes and work for foreign companies and remit our earnings back home. |

As of April 19, 2023, data from the CBN showed that Nigeria’s forex reserve was $34.43 billion, an 18.4 per cent increase from the $29.07 billion it was in 2015. Unlike Jonathan who went about squandering it, Buhari has done well here. |

Whatever Nigerians remit home, politicians, businessmen and their cronies use trucks to carry Naira in exchange. Those crying they cannot wait to papa think everyone has enough to live on or send money home. When you get abroad (in Sudan), be begging the country you call all kinds of names to come and rescue you |

Huge shout out to southerners for their efforts. Oil and remittances are only thing helping the country and economy. One parasitic region will contribute beggars and terrorism to GDP and claim to be food basket but cannot feed the citizens of their states. |

With the recent JAPA trend, it will double soonest. Also, not all these inflows are remittances from Diasporans, a significant portion is due to more and more young lads getting remote international gigs. Better days ahead 🙏 |

J Ezeama400:J Nobody is remitting anything to me. Secondly, do you even know how much Nigerians residing in Nigeria make a year? 168 billion dollars is definitely small when compared to what Nigerians living in Nigeria have made in 8 years. |
