And yet they can’t vote . Their voices are not heard . Abike Dabiri and her kind insult them . Nigerians in diaspora should withhold their remittances for 2 years in protest . Let’s see if these idiots in power will adjust and finally give them the respect they deserve |

blaise26abj:This is an empty threat - the remittances go directly to relatives back home, not to the government. No one would be stupid or cruel enough to leave family members in the lurch for 2 years simply to spite a Nigerian government that wouldn't care either way. |

Where are those anti japa fools? 😠 If you earn less than 800k to 1m naira per month and you have a viable means to leave this country please do. It might take a while for you to settle down but with time you will realize that you’ve done your future generations a lot of good. Do this especially if you younger than 40. It’s mostly difficult for the older folks to settle but trust me, they will. |

And northern Nigeria legislators wouldn't allow these Diaspora Nigerians vote in Nigeria's presidential election. Election voting by Diaspora Nigerians will be more transparent than the election voting in Nigeria. |

If our government is serious, they should, target jobs highly needed overseas, setup structures to train our youths to facilitate their relocation. We have the population and their is nothing like brain drain if the youths are highly trained. The ones that can't travel will be home to fill whatever gap. In the early 60/70, the Chinese were migrating to the western world in droves. 90% of Alaska in America and British Columbia in Canada is Chinese and china town in most European countries. They took back technology and capital to facilitate also what china is now. India did the same with doctors and Philippines with nurses. We can't provide the education, jobs and expect our youths not to be lazy while discouraging the few that can struggle their way out. Most families depends only on these remittances. God should help us with good leaders that is positive to global economic situation. We appreciate all our Nigerian men and women that works odd hours to make this happen for themselves, their families and the nations at large because they also indirectly creat jobs by engaging people in the businesses they have back home or building houses. Some provide direct humanitarian help. |

anyLEGALmeans:The money is the accumulated total Nigerians abroad sent to their various families for family supports and projects. It's not being sent to the useless government, as some of you wrongly assume. |
