Well the box makes the phone extra authentic,better resell value,prove of ownership if you are selling off market,receipt alone doesn't workout if you dont own a shop. Do you know that only that box alone worth 8-10k in computer villa?

I have met people who prefer the original phone box to any receipt you provide.
Mind you, they still ask for both, but that box goes further to prove authenticity

I totally get your point, but to be honest, I'm the type that usually discards the box within the first few days of usage. However, in this case, I had to sell the phone urgently to sort out some bills. Normally, I don't sell my possessions as I like to hold onto them for a long time.

10 days is too early to discard the carton boxes. It's not even necessary for you to be discarding those boxes. You can pack them somewhere into the store, Incase of cases like this, you might never knew, when you will need it back for something

When I bought my first premium phone (i4S), I removed all accessories and left the carton in that shop.
