Video has emerged showing a branch of the Central Bank of Sudan on fire as fighting continues throughout Khartoum.

The BBC has not been able to verify the date it was filmed.

On Sunday, air strikes intensified in the city despite a truce aimed at allowing civilians to flee. The army said it was attacking the city to flush out its paramilitary rivals, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Before you get upset with my comment, make sure you have read about about previous crisis in Sudan before UN referendum for South Sudan. The killings, subjugation, ethnic cleansing in south Sudan & Darfur. South Sudan where treated as sub-human.

The majority of oil was in the south, yet no single development in south by the North that held power for more than 40yrs, if you must work & earn a living, then you must move to the north, of course the south were mostly christians and mostly black & different ethnicity from the north. When south Sudan got her independence, the North sponsored a lot of crisis in the newly independent south, but thank God for peace now.

Sudanese Government must make genuine Restitution to south Sudan and to the people of Darfur before they will have peace, if not war and Destructions will never departh from them.

No need to cry for them. You can only advice them to make genuine Restitution to south Sudan and to the people of Darfur.

For your information, the south Sudan has been developing gradually with Thier oil wealth which the Sudanese government that held power for decades refused to do for them, they drilled oil from the south to develop only the north living them in abject poverty, and now you try to mock South Sudan for daring to be independent, to be free and pursue Thier destiny. It is better to be a freeborn than to be a slave in abundance.

The worst illiterate to educate/correct is the educated illiterate, i.e the one that can read and write.
