Chelsea is a mess already.
Appointing Lampard was the greatest undoing. You bring a new manager to tweak things. Potter was just unlucky. His ideas were gradually sinking in the players heads but with no result. They should have just allowed the guy to continue with the gamble of winning at least 1 in 4 or five matches. Lampard has not won any game since Potter left.
