Have you been having problems recharging your lines of recent on MTN network? Have you been unable to check your data as well? You may need this information.

MTN has not only changed the new codes for recharging lines. They have also changed codes to send data and other codes for their USSD. The reason for this has not been yet declared but it is not unconnected with the direction of NCC. The first telecommunication network in Nigeria urges its customers to be using the codes that have recently being revealed.

You are not aware of the reason and not that the reason is not yet declared.

For your information NCC has mandated all telecom providers to use the same codes for all their services.
MTN is only the first to implement it

Deadline to implement is in 2 weeks time. Extension is expected as like everything in Nigeria.
