The fact that Messi "HUMBLY" apologized to that joke of a club is just sooo sweet. The other person would have gone on a 90mins interview. |

Kilishihunter:some players sef You nor dey perform up to standards, leave...you say NO...what's your problem?? We must sign players o |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Awesome01(m): 9:32am On May 06, 2023 |
BlaqFaze:This thing has been a knot in Barca transfer system for some seasons now. Even while under-performing, every player wants to continue staying at Barca, getting paid big salaries and fat bonuses. Some don't even care if we win or loose. I think a clause should be included in all incoming and renewed players contract, which would give the club 70% power to sell players based on the club's discretion or terminate player's contract if the club doesn't need them. |

🚨 Barcelona will try and sell Franck Kessié, Eric Garcia, Ferran Torres, Marcos Alonso and Raphinha in order to facilitate Leo Messi's return. (Source: @MundoDeportivo) |

BlaqFaze:So far alemany is still with us, some have to move, Btw what do you think of this fati plus Ruben neves swap deal because I don't see the latter as a single pivot for us, Abeg, If wolves truly want him, they should send a Cash only offer, Neves has been their best player for some seasons now so putting him in a swap deal rather than selling him to other PL suitors seems strange, Jorge Mendes should try harder Make them Sha get me Fabricio Diaz, can't miss out on that talent to the Brighton and benfica's of this world |

I don't understand why ferran Torres is not on the list of players to be sold |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 1:47pm On May 06, 2023 |
Oldboss:Aston villa has reportedly made a bid for him but they say he's not leaving, Seems it's up to xavi to tell each player whether they feature in his plans going forward at the end of the season |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 1:52pm On May 06, 2023 |
But this one that don alemany is headed to villa, I hope all or most of our transfer plans (especially the young gems) are not scuppered by him once he lands there since he knows the club inside out Villa are not going to the UCL but as of this moment they can outbid the hell out of us on every target we want even messi, They are top 5 richest in the EPL by virtue of their owners, This one I'm also seeing Christensen being linked with them, let's just know how we conduct our movements especially with SPORT exposing all our transfer plans |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by abduleez1(m): 4:00pm On May 06, 2023 |
Kilishihunter:Our transfer plans being out in the open is also a big reason Alemany is leaving. Make we dey watch sha. I prefer we get Amrabat first, then work on getting Fabrizio. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by abduleez1(m): 4:02pm On May 06, 2023 |
Kilishihunter:The coaching staff as well as Xavi especially is firmly against Ruben Neves arrival. They prefer Amrabat if Zubi can't be acquired. Neves is mostly favoured by the board and Laporta. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by BlaqFaze: 6:44pm On May 06, 2023 |
Kilishihunter:we will definitely be getting 70m and above offers for Fati...so losing him for Ruben Neves (not priority) is like "waste" Fabricio Diaz should be the one to man our DM position...so we shouldn't spend big...we just need to make use of what's available till Diaz comes |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by BlaqFaze: 6:49pm On May 06, 2023 |
Awesome01:Then they won't bother coming ![]() |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Oldboss(m): 7:23pm On May 06, 2023 |
abduleez1:to be honest I don't really rate this zubi and Nevas is just another de jong profile . |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Awesome01(m): 7:26pm On May 06, 2023 |
BlaqFaze:Na true you talk. But this that players, especially the bums are refusing to leave nko? |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 11:24pm On May 06, 2023 |
If anyone offers at least 30 million euros for abde tbh brothers I'll gladly take it and run, didn't expect him to do anything special against an obviously hungry vardrid but his game still leaves a lot to be desired besides dribbling, At least we can see akpororo dribbling with a purpose to score and assist on that lw, I might be wrong but let's see what happens in the summer with xavi sha |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Kilishihunter: 11:33pm On May 06, 2023 |
abduleez1:If we sell raphinha, I'll rather we use the funds to get zubimendi since he's the closest stylistic fit to our gameplay, We'll get Diaz depending on how fast our FFP issue with laliga is resolved |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by brandon180(m): 1:44am On May 07, 2023 |
Una don forget say we no get winger. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by abduleez1(m): 8:04am On May 07, 2023 |
BlaqFaze:Lol, na Diaz a 20 yrs old without European experience na en we wan put our trust in?? 😂😂 I'm not saying we shouldn't go for him, I love prospective youngsters like him coming but to be the main DM after Busquets doesn't seem feasible. We're looking for a player to bench Busquets not sitting at the bench for him. That's why for now I'm in support of Amrabat deal. Diaz can come as a value addition. And how are you sure anyone would be willing to pay 70mn in any denomination for Fati? I doubt any top clubs will reach or get close to that valuation now. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by abduleez1(m): 8:09am On May 07, 2023 |
Kilishihunter:Zubi ooo, Neves oo, I don't really fancy them. Tho I'd have no problems with Zubi. I'm in favour of an aggressive type and big build DM with match reading capabilities and skills that cuts off opposition attacks. That stuff that Casemiro did at Madrid back then. |

7 times Lionel Messi ruthlessly destroyed Real Madrid in El Clasico Lionel Messi enjoyed an incredible career at Barcelona and if there was one game guaranteed to bring the best out of him it was El Clasico. The 35-year-old made his first appearance against Real Madrid in 2005 and ended up with 26 goals and 14 assists against them in all competitions. Messi became Madrid’s arch-rival over the years and we’ve looked back at seven of his best moments in this fixture. March 2007 Messi was only 19 years old when he played in his first-ever El Clasico at Camp Nou, but he announced himself to the world with a stunning performance. Madrid took the lead three times during the game, only for the teenager to peg them back all three times and secure a 3-3 draw. That was Messi’s first senior hat trick, and he has been a thorn in Madrid’s side ever since. May 2009 The La Liga title was at stake when Barcelona travelled to the Bernabeu at the end of the 2008-09 season. Pep Guardiola famously deployed Messi as a false nine and it proved to be a masterstroke as the Argentine constantly dragged the centre-backs out of position. Messi set up Thierry Henry for his side’s first, then scored their third and fifth goals on the way to an incredible 6-2 win in Madrid’s backyard. Barca went on to win the treble that season while Madrid were left in tatters and went trophyless. November 2010 Messi may be an incredible goalscorer, but he doesn’t always have to find the back of the net to make an impact. Jose Mourinho had enjoyed the greatest start of any coach in Real Madrid’s history after taking charge in 2010, but his first El Clasico would be his toughest challenge. Messi was the target of some cynical Real tactics, but he was still able to dictate the game and wreak havoc from his free role. Barcelona were 2-0 up at half-time before Messi set up two David Villa goals and Jeffran made it 5-0 in injury time. April 2011 Since Messi’s debut in 2003, Real Madrid and Barcelona have only met each other once in the Champions League and that came in 2010-11 semi-finals. In the first leg at the Bernabeu, Mourinho’s side were content to sit back and frustrate their visitors and the plan seemed to be working. However, Messi eventually broke the deadlock in the 76th minute when he converted Ibrahim Afellay’s excellent cross from close range. The Argentine forward then picked up the ball midway inside the Real half, skipped past Lassana Diarra, Raul Albiol and Marcelo before slotting it past Iker Casillas. They played out a 1-1 draw in the second leg as Barca progressed to the final and beat Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley. August 2011 After scoring 53 goals in 2010-11, Messi picked up from where he left off and started the 2011-12 season in excellent form against Barcelona in the Spanish Supercopa. Having got an assist and a goal in the first leg at the Bernabeu, Messi took things up another level in the second leg at the Camp Nou. He set up Andres Iniesta’s opener before scoring two goals of his own, including a dramatic 88th-minute winner to make it 3-2 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate. March 2014 El Clasico at the Bernabeu towards the end of the 2013-14 season was one of the best games between these two sides in recent memory. Messi stepped up with an incredible virtuoso display, and he was directly involved in all of Barcelona’s goals as they won 4-3. The forward slotted an excellent through ball into Iniesta’s path and the midfielder fired into the top corner after just seven minutes. Karim Benzema’s quickfire double turned the game around before Messi cut inside the area to fire the visitors level just before the break. Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty restored Madrid’s lead, but Sergio Ramos was shown a straight red card and Messi won the game with two penalties of his own. April 2017 The league title was on the line once again at the Bernabeu and Messi scored a superb individual goal to make it 1-1 after Casemiro had given Madrid the lead. Ivan Rakitic put the visitors in front in the second half, but that lead only lasted a few minutes as substitute James Rodriguez thought he had earned Madrid a point late on. With the game tied at 2-2 in injury time, Messi fired in from the edge of the area to win it for Barcelona and send them top of La Liga. He then celebrated his 500th Barcelona goal by taking off his shirt and holding it out in front of the Madrid fans. Courtesy of planetfootball |
