FG Obtaining Loans Is Not A Big Deal But.... by helinues(op): 8:54pm On May 08, 2023
There is no big deal in having loans as long as you are sure what you are taking the loan for will translate to economy boost which both the loans and the interest would be covered.

The problem is when a loan of let's say $500m was approved, if the budgeted plans for the loan was executed, it should bring high tax in return for government but if the project is inflated deliberately, it means you can never get the value for the loans.

The incoming president should try and reduce our debt ceiling. A big loan payment is around 2024. We don't even know the Buhari government stand about subsidy removal, may be we go need to wait for the incoming government.

FG have been paying ghost money to the importers of petroleum products as almost half of what FG is paying subsidy for don't even make it to Nigeria

Shebi they said world will soon end. Tor let them take more than enough loan and not bother because as soon as the trumpet is blown that's all.

Na when situation become unbearable one dey think world will end, we are not yet in that situation, we don't even have to be, reason why the incoming government should do something about our debt ceiling.

I am still in support of closing our borders just to reduce the influx of things we should have been producing

You see in real life, I avoid loans by all means. If we can maintain whatever income we are getting, loans are not necessary.

I have observed that you can struggle for years to make it, but the same money can vanished within 1 month cos we sometimes spend on things that are not valuable or bring returns.

Money slow to enter but fast to go

Which Obi's thought, Obi that's claiming of turning Nigeria from consumption to production country yet he wants all borders to be opened.

How can you be productive when the products you could have produced are being shipped to the country with lower price.

Obi never ready to be president cos he contradicted himself severally

We warned about Buhari, you didn't listen. By the time Tinubu is through with us you will never see election as tribal supremacy struggle again. Are you not the one supporting Akpabio the minority stooge that will serve as rubber stamp Senate president and approve all loans as long as he achieve "political relevance ahead of Igbos"?
If you truly care about too much loans you better have the Nzogbu Nzogbu mentality and support independent minded Senate president produced by the senators not rubber stamp appointed by the president

No government is perfect, they must have their lapses but the important thing is to take care of priorities. At least under Buhari's regime, some our institutions have upgraded. The hope is for the incoming government to continue strengthening our institutions so that they can deliver effective service.

The merging of the agencies and parastatals are just inevitable

And how did closing the boarder help? You produce and export then earn forex and import. Meanwhile I was talking about your stance on loans. Your people and cowardice are like 5 and 6. Must you be on the "winning side" even when their thoughts don't align with yours?

Go and ask our farmers how much they have been raking since our borders was closed.

You see Yam for example, it's not something common in most countries at least based on my experience, we have the land, we have the man power, we can be the biggest exporter of yams across the world
.

Belarus is unknown country before the Russia Ukraine war, the sanctions on Belarus affected the world mostly because of Fertilizer as they are one of the biggest exporter of it.

This is pure cowardice. You are clearly not happy with the status quo but wants to be in the "winning side" at all cost to feel good. Tinubu will be worse than Buhari. We warned you before, and we are warning you again

Why then is debt and poverty level increasing? Closing boarders never increased production, it only created scarcity. You can leave boarders and increase production

Hahahah, we are living witness to what Tinubu achieved in Lagos state which he can replicate better for Nigeria. Tinubu is a team assembler just like Pep Guardiola.

Failure is out of options

Are the loans obtained properly used for the planned projects?

If the answer is No, don't expect the money to have impact in the economy

Why then did Tinubu fail woefully in Lagos despite all the violence he unleashed. You yoruba rural dwellers are the ones claiming phantom Tinubu achievement in Lagos. People in Lagos know his tenure, he achieved nothing

That is how Tinubu will obtain more loans with express approval from Akpabio the EFCC candidate. They will share the money while you groan in poverty.

How did Tinubu fail in Lagos state? Why is Lagos state choice of destination not only to people from other regions but foreigners as well?

I'm talking about the presidential election, how can he fail woefully if he did well in Lagos. Other regions and foreigners have been trooping to Lagos before Tinubu was born. Imagine if Abuja stops being the capital and one clueless Gwari man rule Abuja state for 8 years and start claiming to have made Abuja what it is? Why not be specific on what exactly Tinubu did in Lagos. If he did well why couldn't he win Lagos in the presidential election

So Obi winning Anambra state means he performed well during his 8 years as Governor. Abi no be same Obi wey his woeful performance as governor is every where. Even the Labour party he is now attested how Obi is a collosal failure

It's a big deal o.. they should stop taking loans with no clear cut out plan of repayment. If not, we all would wake up one day with chains on our necks on slave ships to sugar and rice plantation farms abroad.

Naira redesign failed because of Buhari cluelessness. The weak general is always easily armtwisted by the drug Lord. Soludo carried out reforms successfully under Obasanjo the real general eg, introduction of polymer notes
