That oil was discovered in 2006 - and 20yrs later - it just usual stories. Who will finance the world longest heated pipeline in any enviroment where oil has not much long term future. I dont see it happening.

Uganda should prioritize a refinery and try to sell to the region. That 300k barrels per day via a very long heated pipeline will not be profitable.

The reason why you can't use your skills at your home country is what u should look answers sooner If you need neighbouring nations and others to take your skilled personnel that tells how dysfunctional and useless your education system is. In short,your education system produces what you don't need,.and then you lack what u need and you are ending up importing Chinese fellows to do things which your skilled people can't perform.That is a sign of a shithole. Then since you failed to produce according to your needs and your economy, that means the people who runs your country are not well educated,and if are not well educated, your whole nation is undereducated and miseducated and only produces a half baked graduates.Imagine,all construction big projects are done by Chinese,while your so called skilled people are onlookers,can't do a basic stuff like bridges and railways.

The day you start doing a real education tag me,that is when scientists and technological folks will be minted in your varsities than those theory folks u busy producing
