I have been thinking of setting up a bet shop for sometime time. But after discussing with a super agent I was advised to buy and already existing betshop rather than trying to start afresh.

I have been searching and with help from the agent and a few friends I discovered one in GRA Benin city. The owner is insisting on #2million non negotiable. The thing is I want advise from anyone who owns or has run a betshop if I should go for it. Is it okay for that price or am I paying too much for it?

How much does it cost to get a licence, place and furnish it I am sure it not be up to a million.

The only thing you're paying for is goodwill and that is dependent on a lot of factors like the location, number of transactions each day and a lot more

Bet business is declining rapidly. If u must run the business, buy an existing shop as u were advised. Secondly, ensure the virtual sales is very high else it wldnt be funny.

No! Don't do it. 2 million in a bet shop is a terrible idea, especially here in Benin-city. I strong advice against it.

I have items I bought purposely because of the shitty buisness.
I thought it’s going to work well in my area after I even rented the shop. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the bet9ja account and all my items are unused in my store.
