1, Location is key. Middle class earners patronize you most and instead of finding a shop inside the street, consider the junction that connects multiple streets or neighborhood

2, How social you are is the second key. If you are not living the lifestyle or at least can accommodate it (eg, smoking, drinking, football, any lifestyle unique to your neighborhood) and be jovial enough to hail every single person that pass through your shop every minute then they will assume you are feeling too big.


3, Existing competition in your chosen area may send you back to village.


4, do your home work, how do you plan to advertise/promote your work.
NB: if you do not have at least 3 carefully crafted working marketing technique, don't bother opening the shop. Either flier in a small opening party with loud music so that everyone passing will know they are opening shop.

5, offer free pickup & or delivery

6, flier and or business card is very very important
