If Not For Seun Kuti, Nigerian Police Would Not Have Known That Slapping Is Bad by gidgiddy(op): 9:01am On May 16, 2023
Every day, we see the Nigerian Police slap somebody, no noise

We then see Seun Kuti slap a Policeman, and theres noise everywhere

The Nigerian Police Force that regularly disregards the rule of law to engage in abuse of power, human rights abuse and torture

Two wrongs dont make a right, but when one wrong attracts no noise, while the other attracts all the noise in the world, then something is wrong.

All Im saying is this, if you are one those calling out Seun Kuti for slapping a Policeman, use the same energy to call out any Policeman you see slapping, brutalising or torturing anyone, following the law is not for Seun Kuti alone

Seun Kuti may slap one Policeman, but many Nigerians will be slapped by the Nigerian Police in the future

Why do you call out ipobs for killing police and soldiers, cause police and soldiers kill innocent people in Nigeria all the time

I tell you. Until the day a policeman is disarmed and his phone forcefully searched by his wife on camera, they will keep carrying prostitutes with bribes they get after searching peoples phone.

This may be the beginning of the end for the practice of police officers slapping citizens. Now that someone famous is being prosecuted for a mere slap, the police will have no choice but to discipline the next police officer caught on slapping a citizen on camera. The public outcry will compel them.

Because nobody has shown me any evidence, beyond mere words, that IPOB killed anyone

Seun must have smoked weed that morning. It's rascality u shouldn't support it. We are civilised. If we want to rise against police brutality, the Endsars peace protests we're lawful & fruitful before Tinubu's thugs invded it & the rest is history. If Seun assaults the police as an individual, much changes can't be effected.

There's no hope in Nigeria no matter if Obi, Atiku, or Tinubu becomes President

Nigeria has long gone passed recovering stage and the only two options are we agree to peaceful disintegration, or we watch it collapse, which may not be as peaceful
Then why not accept the man that is disposed to restructuring that could lead to regionalism, confederation, and possibly disintegration?

Asking for a dissolution when the Constitution doesn't allows that will lead to a crisis. Why not work within the framework of what the constitution allows and gradually amend and input Articles that would guarantee what each nationality desires?

Why is SE detest the financial autonomy of each generating States

Self determination is fundamental human right.

Restructuring only arises when Biafra issue is being discussed because no Nigeria politician is committed to that.
When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was in Nigeria Campaigning for division through referendum,we heard Politicians, governors and religious leaders from all region discussing restructuring but immediately Kanu escaped assassination the noise for restructuring died.

If I may ask,why do Southwest detest total autonomy for each region?

The Nigerian Police have a liberty to slap, it is constitutional, our constitution was written by clowns after an overdose of cannabis.
