After a bloody attack, bodies of women and children litter the villages on the plateau (Graphic Photos)

In a Monday night raid at the villages of Fungzai and Kubwat in Plateau State's Mangu Local Government Area, men, women, and children reportedly died.

No fewer than 41 individuals were killed in the attack, according to IGBERETV.

Director General of Plateau Peace Building Joseph Lengmang claimed in a post on his verified Facebook page that he had never witnessed such a level of carnage and bloodbath. He composed;

"In the past 24 hours, we have never witnessed this level of bloodshed and bloodbath in Plateau State's Mangu Local Government Area.

It is quite disturbing to see innocent people killed and homes tragically destroyed from one town to another.

This is completely unacceptable.
