The geology of Nigeria which is made up of three major litho-petrological components, namely the Basement Complex, Younger Granites and Sedimentary Basins. The Basement Complex, which is Precambrian in age, is made up of the Migmatite–Gneiss Complex, the Schist Belts and the Older Granites.
