Is that what you think? When a government wants to push through potentially unpopular laws or policies, they use the media to create a help shape public opinion.

What this young man has done is provide all the justification they need to turn around and say, see we were right.

I sincerely don't understand why Nigerians HATE to hear the truth and HATE anyone who speaks the truth.

I just don't get it. It's a very destructive mindset, to hate the truth instead of learning and adjusting to it.

And of course Nigerians love and embrace lies - like " there is nothing like fuel subsidy" or "fuel subsidy doesn't exist".

In this particular matter, Mr Tiamiyu told the truth that Nigerians are abusing UK academic visas. If that's the case, there's no need to criticize the person who just said the truth. All he did was say what everyone knows is happening. The data is there to support his statements. Haba, the comments here make it seem he would be worthy of your praise if he LIED in public, on a BBC interview. Come on!

No surprise that Nigerians have run down their own country to the point it's the official Poverty Capital of the world.

Nigerians, we have to do better, things can't go on like this. It just can't. sad Nobody with a desire to do what is right can feel safe among Nigerians.

Good Luck to Nigeria!

The mumu played right into their hands. They knew all along that that’s what Nigerians have been doing but they needed enough justification for the ban to be effected but I’m not surprised anyway, the mumu is an Obidient son of Peter Obidiòt and he got that diarrhea of the mouth from naanu definitely grin

That's the problem we have as Africans, an Indian will never open his mouth wide and give out this such information, the reason they are advancing more in that society than Africans, they'll rather help themselves, with information that will help them exploit the system. However the truth be told, the new crop of immigrants to the UK in the last one year are some bunch of weirdos, lot of them uncouth, unrefined, Noisy, lousy and appear haggard. They would have made it better if they can comport themselves, rather they bring in that crude ways here, even in public places, they can't just learn to adjust.
Most of them are usually Yorubas(unfortunately)-------makes so much noise everywhere, library, inside bus, shopping mall etc. Nothing stops people from coming here but at least, let us act calm and classy once in a while.

How and why? If that's the case then aggrieved Nigerians should go ahead and do it.

He's already being threatened with violence on Twitter, that's actually more plausible than a lawsuit.

Take it easy please. shocked

You see all these Indians, Paki and Bangladesh when they see an open door they will drag their brothers along. Most of them are here in the UK and not through student route. But some Nigerians will shut the door so his brother won’t cross. Instead he prefers to give him stipends and pepper them with pictures from afar.

that guy daft walai. And this is the same thing he is using to hustle o. It's the same route he used.

The media never forgets, he will meet plenty Nigerians in Uk that will remind him of his cowardness and foolishness.

Even he mentioned that they did not use d part where he said something good.

The politicians are Nigerians, most of them were once ordinary Nigerians. Nigeria is what it is because of THE PEOPLE of Nigeria. The evidence is right here on this thread, where people are castigating someone who told the TRUTH.

Nigeria is going to remain in poverty for a long time to come because Nigerians are an unreasonable people.

Good Luck to Nigerians.
