After uploading, I got to the signature part and it asked me to pay 100CAD within 2hours so I had to cancel. But I can see that the forms are uploaded but not submitted undecided

What’s the difference between Visitor visa and tourist visa? Thought they are both TRV like they are the same thing? Please explain?

And do I need to still have the same money in my bank statement I used to apply in 2021? Or I can just have enough PTA(cash) without having funds in my Nigeria account I used to apply? Like will they check it at the border

Do you mean IOM? You can send them an email if you can not book on their website. That's what someone I know did for her super visa application. Which visa do you need medicals for?

It’s the same, the purpose for this visit is the difference.

Just have enough money to fund your trip, either cash or account.

Good evening Nairalanders
I need someone to help me out with some details and advice.
So I and my family were planning to go to Uk via study route by Jan 2024, but with this clamp down on dependent visa it might not be possible again. So we have been looking at the option of going to Canada via the visitor/tourist visa as my husband has his relatives there already or to any other European country like Netherlands or Luxembourg via school.
What are our chances of getting the Canada visitor/tourist visa without travel history? Does the visa require POF? If so how much? How long does it take? Should we settle for Europe instead of Canada?
Thanks in anticipation 🙏

Hello all, I thought to encourage all those that got BVL and waiting on PPR like me.
I applied 2022 April to visit a friend with my family,we were just a family of 3 last year when we applied but I have a 7month old now.
BLV dropped for the 3 of us on May 6 2023
I had notified IRCC about the new born sometimes in Nov 2022 through Webform.
I sent another webform last week to ask if I could send in my new born's application and I got a reply same day asking me to go ahead.
Meanwhile,I had tracked our own applications after BVL dropped and I saw the visa numbers but yet no PPR yet.
To cut the story short, I applied for the new born on 21st May 2023 and today I got a notification for PPR.
Amazingly, the 2022 application was so that my wife could give birth in canada but PPR didn't come till now but the baby we were planning for got PPR before us.
I pray for as many still trusting God for PPR, God will come through for you all and our expectations will not be cut off.(Amen)

.......and finally PPR landed today!
Application Date: 11th April 2022
BVL: 6th May 2023
PPR: 26th May 2023
It was the longest wait of my visa application experience .
I'll like to thank everyone here who at one point or the other put informations on this platform, I read almost everything and I put them to them to good use.
Special thanks to @Olasubomy,for his selflessness and encouragement all through this journey.
To everyone still waiting, it is coming, may it meet you in good health.
Cheers

I think the study route for the Canada is better. You can’t do anything with visitor visa if you don’t have a spouse on study permit or PR. You can search for the Canada study visa thread and ask your questions there on how to get started. And yes, you guys need POF.

Hello Everyone sorry for updating late. I got my PPR yesterday by 9:40am after bombarding them back to back with emails and webforms with the emotional email template @emmaefe forwarded in the forum.
Here is my timeline.

Application submitted: 24th November 2022
Biometrics collected: 29th November 2022
BVL/Correspondence: 27th April 2023
Visa number on Tracker: 27th April 2023
PPR: 24th May 2023

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and support

I will be submitting my passport in person. Pls I have two questions;
1) when submitting my passport do I need to also go with photocopies of my passport data page?

2) do I need to go with the consent form that was given to me during my biometrics or I need to print a fresh one and fill it?

Pls I will appreciate a quick response from a experienced brother or sister 🙏❤️

Congratulations.

1, YES, you have to go with 2 photocopies of your passport data page along with your original passport.

2, YES, you need 2 copies of a fresh consent form. You can also hold that old consent form just incase they ask for it. I intend going with my old copy too.

I hope these suggestions help.

Cheers

Hello House,
Good morning to everyone.
How long does it take IRCC to respond or send passport request after submitting the requested additional document?

Responses would be highly appreciated
