Ladies and gentlemen ! NEVER keep your money idle in a bank . The bank should be a transaction hub for you . KEEP INVESTING ! In business or in yourself . If you don’t , banks will take the risk for you and give you paltry interests if you do not touch your money frequently .

What I have noticed about truly rich people , they OWE the banks . They are generally not too liquid ( having cash around them ) except for maintenance funds .

Depositors are the main victims here. There is limit to what individual can get from NDIC for those who might have deposited beyond the maximum of claim to be paid by NDIC.

For instance for MFB depositors 200k is the maximum of claim that can be paid by NDIC per l customer, for those who have deposited, 250, 300k, 600k, 1m and so on, they will only get 200k and might never get the excess amount.

What about investors? I mean shareholders and directors who invested by contributing to the initial deposit required by the CBN?

How can they get their money back?

Heck, I don't even know if any dividends have so far been shared or not.

Funny enough Savannah bank is not yet liquidated by NDIC. The bank took CBN and NDIC to court after CBN withdrew it's license, the matter dragged on for years and I'm not sure if judgment has been given. The head office on broad street is now a suit and shoe warehouse.
