Nigerians can now request for a debit card which also serves as their National Identity Card at no additional cost than the normal fees charged for debit cards.

This is a wonderful development. We only pray that the NIMC should become up and doing.

It really is.

And there are many other possible innovative applications of the NIN that we are looking to the NIMC to implement e.g. Use of our NIN number and fingerprints to vote during elections etc.
