I've tasted Abuja and Lagos.

For the early development of your marriage you need peace, stability, a good environment.

Request for work leave and go to Lagos. Spend just a few days. Leave a destination ( Assuming it's where you'll stay should you choose Lagos ), calculate the time and effort and hours and resources it would take you to and fro work daily. Evaluate what it takes from your life and state and you'll have some personal answers in your choices based in experience that will help you make an informed decision.



Abuja jobs and organizations hardly challenges individuals to grow. If they do, the growth process and experiential expossure to more heights are typically slow and sluggish. Abuja in every sense represents stability and constancy. Only God knows the number of Lagos based workers suffering from " chaotic, haphazard experiences " in their lives.


If Abuja promises improvement in work conditions that delivers on a salary scale close to Lagos, I personally wouldn't move.



It is worth to consider the acclimization aspect of the entire family. Kid in school, how Lagos based kids behave and how abuja do. Same with wifey, lifestyle choices and all.


I'll choose Abuja anyday and time. Lagos has expired long ago but many don't know this


I forgot to add, Lagosians are not normal people.
