The federal high court is a lower court to the presidential election tribunal and that’s the reason why I said the court lack jurisdiction to hear the case. Except the judge want to go rogue.
Oga you are obviously confused...

The judge is obligated to give a ruling that is the point that you are not getting...

So if a Judge have something more important to attend to he should not go because of the civil cases on his table?
I hope you will be here when fines will land on the lawyer.
Silly gratuitous remark...

The attempts to bastardize the judiciary will ultimately fail...

The use of punitive fines to emasculate the course of justice will boomerang on its authors...

I never said the Judge won’t give a ruling. But I am just telling you how the matter will end.
We said the same thing about the PDP case at the Supreme Court and it was the same outcome.

What’s silly about my comment? Even the lawyer said it himself that the judge was attending a conference, what if the conference is still on till today or there is another important assignment for the judge?
Our problem is that we don’t want to give people benefit of doubt, we always claim victims.

At times when you see how some of these lawyers behave like stack illetrates that don't know the law, you will rather be allowed to defend your case than allowing them use inexperience scatter case for you. This case is already infront of tribunal; but maybe because of money lawyers want to collect from their clients, they will act being ignorant. Tinubu has already made N57 millions today from court charges to petitioners. Judge should come quickly and slam these ones too with N100 million with 20% yearly increase.
If there is anyone talking like an ignoramus here, that person is you because you have minimal knowledge of how the court process works...

A counsel left Lagos for Abuja to get a ruling before a judge on Wednesday...

The judge adjourned the ruling to Friday with a funny excuse of attending a conference.

Why was it difficult for the judge to communicate a convenient date to the counsel when his court would be in session?

So in your twisted thinking process, if you are litigating a matter before a judge, you should on your suspend further effort on it because there is a similar case in another court?

You people should start thinking before you type...

You are only being disingenuous here else you know that that is a obvious ruse to dodge responsibility...

It was a silly remark to trumpet using of fines to intimidate those who are seeking justice...

When lawyers chose to waste the time of the court there should be consequences for such actions.
Imagine a case before appeal court and a lawyer is filing same case in the high court. Are you saying the lawyer did not know the right thing to do?

We are not concerned with how the matter will end...

We just want the judge to do his job...

The way some of these judges are behaving in this country, law as a profession will progressively become an endangered vocation because the day the prestige that makes it what it is goes, your guess will be as good as anyone's...

Are you saying because the judge does not want to fine them thats why they asconded?
fergie001:
The petitioners will just get a very heavy fine, this suit is frivolous.

This lawyer is letting his emotions and the money he will make to becloud his reasoning. No high court judge will rule on a matter already in front of the Tribunal. Blackmailing the judge in the press will not change the outcome of the case.
Then the so called judge should have told them beforehand that they shouldn’t bother turning up on Friday for a ruling, instead of just going AWOL!

Who conferred clairvoyance on you to know when that case was filed?

The Abuja constitutional conundrum has been in the public place before Mahmoud nicodemusely selected Tinubu as the winner...

Is it inconceivable that that application was filed before the PEPT was setup?

You can't be the judge and the jury at the same time...

It doesn't cut it for you to start thinking for a party who is seeking a redress on how best to prosecute their matter in order to succeed...

The legal profession in Nigeria has plunged new depth.

It would have been unthinkable in years past that a lawyer will lambast a judge in the open like this.

This feels like gansterism.

This lawyer's rant has a similar ring to the one by the man that went haywire on the plane.

If you are not mumu, you will see that my submission up there is general to lawyers citing from how court slammed about N57 million naira only today to be paid to Tinubu. If you don't have mature brain capable enough to grab the message, kindly let most intelligent near you interprete to you

The problem is that you are too emotional, I am not decent but only tell it like it is. The person they fined N40m, will you pay it for him?

1. The Judge cannot touch an issue that is already before a Higher Court.

2. The petitioners have no locus standi. They are not Candidates in the election and cannot file the suit.

3. These are pre-election matters why bring it here after an election has been won and lost?

4. This is one of the grounds at the Tribunal so why bring it before a lower Court? The suit is frivolous, unmeritorious, and ought to be dismissed with heavy costs.

The only thing the Court will ask them is to establish that they have the locus?

Decency is to know when to do the right thing, follow the proper channels and know when to beat a retreat. To bamboozle our Courts with all manner of suits is very unnecessary.

So your little mind is now using a self-serving proclamation by an obviously biased court as a standard going forward?

Can your brain reformat to understand that that ruling especially on the imposition of fine will be challenged up to the Supreme Court?

We know your type who are wont drop thoughtless remarks here and there only to resort to senseless insults when an attempt is made to direct them a semblance of rationality...

Now take a hike and keep moving...

If the judge feels he cannot touch it because its before a higher court, he should dismiss it, not do hide and seek.

Nigeria is really in a terrible state as everybody seems to be corrupt.

Why answering your Lordship when you are afraid of your court? Why read the law when you are so scared to defend the law? Buhari and APC have turned the country into the Banana Republic.

At this critical point I don't think any nigerian judge will have the liver to give any judgement against tinibu and his apc the judge will just first write down his will. Only the military can stop tinibu now.
