But you copied this review or you based it on a review you heard somewhere...about 1 or 2 days ago

All I know is I've seen this exact review before...maybe not exactly word for word, but almost is...

Except it's deja vu

Edited: not deja Vu...

It's from Critical Drinker's review...some sentences are almost word for word

I was surprised that Octopusssy aka ishilove gave a lengthy and captivating review.

This is someone that lacks the ability to describe anything outside romance and local Nigerian literature.

Mtchew. When i said that people write reviews for clout.....fake life

I didn't reveal that it was a copied review out of spite...

There's nothing wrong in getting inspiration for writing a review...but It just felt way too familiar

Not so fast it seems.
DC Studios' The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, is currently on track for a less-than-stellar opening weekend.

Well that's what happens when you oversell a movie and your marketing reeks of DESPERATION. 🙃

I 'copied' the review?? I listened to a YouTube analysis of the movie and wrote what I heard down here and you're saying I copied? Nigga, I'm not dumb. I was introduced to the channel on this thread and if I want to 'copy', do you think I will do so on a thread that has his followers?

Vawulence chapter 213 vs 99 ( Queen James version )

If vawulence be for me,
who can be against me,
For without vawulence,
Comrade is nothing.
I beseech thee, My beloved comrade,
in all your doings, let vawulence be your watchword.

Isn't this what everyone here does?

You all base your opinions and facts on Twitter posts and reddit discussions. Or why does everyone hates Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel again? undecided grin

It's why anything that isn't mainstream doesn't fly here.

As long as you're not paying anyone to write a review, you should mind your business.

I must say, I hate those lengthy reviews tho.

65-

Adam Driver running around with sophisticated and futuristic ammo during the Cretaceous period, when mankind did not even exist had me thinking about alien civilisations and the very strong possibility that mankind in this universe is not the mist intelligent species. Thing is these aliens are not supposed to be humanoid like Adam's character. There are other life forms even more intelligent than man in other parts of creation, that I am sure of.

A very ambitious movie. Very little dialogue, which is fine by me. The story is moved forward by flashbacks and action, ironically.

Nice and ambitious movie.

Boiling Point-

The movie takes place in an actual restaurant. I've never really sat down to imagine what goes on in a restaurant. My only concern is let the food be prepared in the most hygienic and sanitary conditions, and let it taste good, dammit!

We see restaurant staff struggling to meet up with the orders and when things reach a head, the different characters react in different ways. Everyone seems to have one little side drama they are dealing with, but they still forge ahead. The work must go on. Keep your shît together under intense pressure.

The movie is able to project the frenzy that goes on behind the scenes in the kitchen of a busy restaurant and I experienced bouts of anxiety just watching them struggle with the orders and their personal issues. It's a film that is so real, relatable and absolutely gripping.

The movie was aptly named, everything just started off slowly with a Chef trying to have a successful evening cooking, then building up with different side plot and eventually cascading to a "Boiling Point" in the end, whilst the movie was shot in basically one take and scene.

It was just too good. The British hardly misses with thier movies or shows.

Since you loved this may i recommend "Burnt (2015) and "The Bear" (2022) (A tv show.) They are right up in the same ally with this.

You know, for once i used to she was original and responsible. I can't believe she could dabble into the act of stealing other people's work and turning it into her own.

I didn't think it started off slowly. I think it started with promises of shït hitting the ceiling because head Chef clearly had some serious personal issues that was going to interfere with his work in the long run. I also kept on wondering what was in that white plastic water bottle he was swallowing from every five minutes. The one long take served to draw and lock us in the restaurant, sharing in every moment with the characters without missing a bit. It's like we are in their heads. That made me anxious, seriously.

The British are really good at what they do. Art imitates life and this movie is a depiction of unpretentious life. Thanks for the recommendations.

Someone was caught making a clown of herself by stealing something and posting it as her own for clout.

But no, in your own estimation, she is the ultimate savage!

I am just laughing at the mediocrity of clout chasers and simps. Have a nice day

And yet, you believe in the christian God.

This contradiction and hypocrisy reminds me of the movie "prometheus". In the movie, the protagonist finds out that humans were created by an advanced race of aliens called "the engineers", however, she still believed in God.

The christian God and christianity cannot be true if intelligent life exists.

Common sense and religion are like oil and water, they do not mix......

Hmmm. I'm usually not sure of what to say, since there isn't any viable evidence that suggest there's life out there and I don't even think astrologers have discovered any planet that can support life.

Predestination (2014)......9/10

I'm pretty sure everyone here has seen this movie. Except me before today tho. But I'll try not to include much spoilers

It shows some of the time travel paradox and how no matter how you try to change events through time travel, these events are predestined to happen.

It actually isn't the first movie/media to show this...since I've seen this concept a lot...but it does a solid work at it...

It goes pretty crazy... especially how the cycle of the character will keep repeating itself for all eternity...
Almost like an eternal loop with no way out

I have already made my point about the analysis in my response to Baddestguyp and I am not going to explain myself further to anybody. I will keep posting from that channel on this thread, word for word if possible. Believe what what you want; it ain't no skin off my nose.

But you? A pig you are, and a pig you will always be, basking in the slime and mud that is your home. Nothing will ever change that even in the very unlikely chance you decide to leave Nairaland for good. 'Old man' Naptu2 will keep serving you your medicine in the meantime.

You can now fück off forever to the dustbin

Creation is a lot deeper than we can imagine. The evidence we seek may not exactly be what we are expecting o.

As you can see, I have been replying you calmly because I'm not even bothered by your insults.

Anyone here can see who has been rolling in the mud of insults and lies.

What you don't realise is that everyone has a writing style. This is why people always know it is me even when I'm undercover.

My advice to you is to stop being fake. Just check out my reviews and comments- 100% me. So original. Just try to be yourself.

The time travel concept is an intriguing, fascinating but yet complicated concept. I think the complexity all stems from the fact that nobody has ever time travelled before, hence the different theories or school of thoughts out there.

One school of thought is of the opinion that we are all programmed towards a particular path on this Earth, you can't change your path, and should you have the ability to go back in time to change it, it's not going to work, as it must happen. This invariably, kills freewill in the present, and this realization is quite scary if you ask me.

Another school of thought is of the opinion that you can actually reprogram your programming on earth.......if somehow you travel back through time and influence your younger self or an important event which would in turn create an alternative timeline from the original timeline.

Truly, time travel is one complex concept, complex and complicated because no one has ever done it before, hence, all we have are just theories and nothing more.

Hmmm. But the existence of other lifeforms other than us negates a whole lot of our beliefs.

True, the univers is way too big for us to be the only ones in it, then again, what if we are the only ones?, what if we aren't the only ones?, so far, have other planets that can support life discovered?

I honestly don't want to think of other life forms aside us, especially if it makes us not be on top the food chain.
