In an unprecedented show of support and national acceptance, High Chief Government Ekpemopolo aka Tompolo today bought the front pages of two national newspapers to congratulate President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his inauguration as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This massive show of love and support from Niger Delta leaders like Tompolo, Asari Dokubo, Wike, Jonathan etc goes to show that the South South is fully in support of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration. I’m glad the Senate president is going to the region.

Kudos to Tompolo and other Niger Delta leaders for putting the unity and progress of the country ahead of emotional, petty, bigoted and selfish ethno- religious considerations. Their show of southern support and solidarity will never be forgotten.

Tinubu is loved in the creeks of the South South. I've said this from Day 1. Rivers State does not start and end in Port Harcourt. Delta State doesn't start and end in Asaba.

Let me tell you why we have confidence in Tinubu?

Tinubu does not treat the children of nobody like outcasts or murder them in cold blood like someone used Awkuzu Sars to kill dissidents.

No matter the provocation, Tinubu isn't one who will order a military raid to sack an entire community like Obasanjo ordered his boys to destroy Odi in Bayelsa to the ground.

Tinubu has the midas touch to turn unemployed miscreants into money making entities for the government. He did it with the likes of MC Oluomo at Lagos.

When he says that he intends to recruit millions of youth to farm "Agbado", he's talking about taking the "nobodies" who we've concluded to be useless out of the cold streets.

The boys wielding machine guns in every nook and cranny of Nigeria know the Nigerian leader who is likely to create a plan for them to drop the guns without fighting with them. His name is Bola Tinubu. We stand on his mandate.
