Supporters and a few operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps were caught on camera struggling with officials assigned to distribute souvenirs to guests at Monday's swearing-in ceremony of the new president, Bola Tinubu.

Dressed in colourful matching clothes, the supporters defied the presence of security operatives to challenge the officials, who they accused of skipping their seats during the distribution of customised pieces of wrappers neatly wrapped in paper bags.

Always eager to prove to the politicians that they lack self worth. Reminds me of how Sanwolu, on official outing, passed and threw some cash to some youths at a section where the road was an eye sore. Same youths could have used the opportunity to display placards to send him a message on the urgent need to fix the road but they missed it for peanuts that wont make any difference in their lives.
