NNPC has adjusted it's pump price for PMS to 511 Naira per Litre in Port-harcourt, which I believe is same nationwide
Just yesterday, the same petrol was sold for 230 Naira at NNPC stations.

In the course of this subsidy, people's savings just lost 58% of it's value overnight. That means your 1 million naira in the bank is worth 420,000 right now.

But I believe subsidy removal was necessary as Nigeria can't afford such unproductive expense and the APC outgoing and incoming governments were transparent about their stance on the issue.

Nevertheless the preparatory ground work and execution plan is lacking. All they did was exempt fuel subsidy from July's budget, force start Dangote Refinery, Tinubu Inauguration's Speech and NNPC boss meeting yesterday. That's all.

I wish everyone well but if you didn't prepare for the impact of this policy, I am sorry to say you will be caught lacking before this month ends.

Logistics and cargo are moved with diesel trucks, same as Agricultural products and diesel remains the same price

We already have enough PMS imported to last us many month, yet fuel marketers are hoarding it and hiking it

I hope they don't keep on looting the subsidy money even after removing it and promising to use the money for other beneficial purposes...

some Nigerians are very funny...so in a functional society,if something is been subsidized and the people are enjoying it,but a particular group of individuals are stealing from that subsidy account,the solution will be to remove the subsidy outrightly? instead of getting the thieves prosecuted....this nigeria is really cursed!!

this is how some fools said the cash crunch will make tinubu lose the election,today who is the president?..some Nigerians will just love to inherit sufferings not meant for them...I pity this nation though...even the imf saying subsidy on fuel Should be removed..do you know how many things they subsidize for their People?..food,school fees etc..many necessary stuffs are subsidized....as long as nigeria is concerned,petrol is a necessity not a luxury because electricity is poor, transport poor and most small scale businesses run on petrol.

It took Apc and buhari 8 good yrs of blaming goodluck Jonathan to give us 20% nnpc stake in dangote refinery as an achievement and I'm supposed to clap for you??
