I found some about 20 snails in my backyard which my dad brought from his farm;
At first I wanted to eat it till I remembered a nairaland thread about vegetable farming, I am rearing it.
Below is my progress which I'll be sharing from day one till the last including vegetables too, enjoy

Day1:
So far, I'll be putting it in the bucket as snails need a humid environment away from sunlight too
I had to put some loamy soil to the bucket and sprinkle water

The bucket was covered with something to reduce sunlight, I also but a wood there and 2 tree branches for them to commute.
I put scent leave and utazi inside the bucket to observe if they'll eat it
I'll update soon...

So far so good, they ate the leaves as seen, they're doing well so far

If the weather is hot, the bucket will also be hot and it will affect the snails.

Hope you water the sand in the bucket from time to time

I do not know much about snail farming. But I have a man who used car tyres and covered them. But the place must not be hot but cool

No instead of bucket, he used old car tyres as their house put leaves inside covered and put them in a cool area where the sun will not scorched them.

that's so thoughtful, mine Is away from the sun and I know it's humid enough for them
