Or Almijiri, you are still viewing Nigeria under colonial & military mentality were the buck lays only on the Commander in Chief, unlike in a democratic dispensation?
What is this one talking about.. mtcheewww i thought i talking to someone that is reasonable

The NLC strike will flop. We have passed this point already. We should be discussing palliatives.

Revert to the old price and come to the negotiating table or we go on strike

Bola Tinubu protested against fuel subsidy removal in 2014 during Goodluck Jonathan PDP government. Why go back to his vomit now?

Tinubu must be really stupid to think he can just wake up and take decisions without following due process
As the strike goes on, will workers of the judiciary be exempted? How will Peter Obi's case go on?

Just wondering why you are so excited. Or have you given up on the mandate?

This just shows the depth and level of your thinking. ASUU went on strike because of the decay in the educational sector and failure of government to respect a 9yr agreement till date. Ngige and co subjected students to that not ASUU.
Even at the lowest depth of my thinking, I am still asking a question you have not answered. Is a nation wide strike the solution to the problem at hand?

If you are smart enough , you will know there's no way we can secure the borders of Nigeria 100% against illegal crossing with fuel.. For Nigeria to secure the whole border we need to build walls just like what donald did in America..

We are talking about countries surrounding us dommy..

What Tinubu did in 2012 is what you’re now doing in 2023. So what’s the difference between the two of you?

And point of correction, Tinubu did not remove subsidy, Buhari did. More so, subsidy removal is here to stay. It is an act of law, not act of pronouncements.

Get used to it. Tinubu won’t change the law.
Am not sure u buy fuel at all

People say a lot of things when they are not provided with data. There is no way the country can afford it at the rate which is like 25UScents a liter . At least it should be on par with CBN dollar exchange rate.
That said - I am trying to see where in the budget for the past 10 years an allocation was made simply for subsidy. I don’t see.
We are spending more than we make.

We need to make a lot more money. There are a lot of people working in the civil service , defence, airports that are just getting a pay cheque with no actual task.
We should be emulating India and China and not America . We need to make the country attractive to investments that is why blindbat said he would look into the double tax .
There are lots of IT and customer service jobs that are in india that could have relocated to Nigeria but insecurity, trustworthiness robs us of billions.
It’s not coming back . We have to learn to live without

Just like Obi is equally a mad man for promising to removed subsidy immediately after becoming president.
Re: FG Meets NLC On Petrol Subsidy Crisis by FireUpNow(m):
Tinubu campaigned against GEJ by staging and sponsoring protests on fuel subsidy. Now he is facing the heat. Why didn't he meet with NLC before coming on air to make his fuel subsidy removal? Cluelessness.

Funny. “ trying to join another tribe?” That’s being egocentric, the facts availability proofs the contrary ……. Ask ASSU about the latest court judgement. On no work no pay.
NLC is not ASUU.
ASUU is just a tiny fraction of NLC

Tinubu is a very divisive man but he his divide and rule will not work this time.

Labour is not against subsidy removal but there must be concrete plans in place to reduce the effect

Labour should just try and reach a truce with the government, because the proposed strike is already dented in the mocky waters of politics.
There is already a school of thought that believe that the NLC as a part of LP is only seeking to distract the government.
This notion is certainly not good for the labour unions as it will cast doubts in the mind of people as to the sincerity of the labour unions.
