Yesterday the vet guy came to compensate my friend with another Boerboal dog but I don't understand this Boerboal breed.
It doesn't bark and doesn't have tendency of barking at strangers, anyone can touch it, isn't well fed.

My friend dead dog is aggressive to strangers but hasn't killed a chicken before but this calm dog killed a 6 weeks chick this morning

I want to tell my friend to return it and get a new dog but I need some inputs if Boerboal behaves like that

My friend dead dog took 2 weeks before she was able to accept for me to touch her and very aggressive and vigilant.
Just yesterday night they brought the dog, it hasn't bark like a dog.

I'm thinking maybe it's cos of change of environment for her but at least she ought to bark when being beaten.

When I learnt she killed a chicken this morning, I beat her but she didn't cry nor bark.

would be very difficult for that Vet of yours, to get you a pure breed. Combination therapy dey everywhere

Why you beat the dog na ? Looking at that dog, e sure me say e fit never chop meat before. Also you don't beat dogs. In fact if you must punish a dog, do it immediately or while they're commiting the offence, not after. That's because when you beat them after, they wouldn't understand why they're being punished or why you're unhappy with them and with time, they just might become docile

You see how you exposed yourself here, no be you get dog but na you dey beat am.. Your vet gave you a mongrel as a Boerboel 😂😂, the dead dog is even of better quality

. The first dog is more of a boerboel than any breed. The second has been crossed with a gsd

I beat the dog immediately I discharged the chick she killed.

About the dog eating meat, it's like it's true cos while we were talking one time like that, the vet guy was telling us he feed his dog most times once in a day and he never included giving them meat at any point in the conversation.

you either reject it, and ask for something better, or at least comparable to what was lost OR just manage it that way. at all at all na him bad they say.

meanwhile, that poor dog need help. him condition seems worse than that of Nigerian...

Personally, I find it difficult spending on things I don't appreciate. so if you don't like the dog, have it replaced to something close to, or much better than what was lost.

He's just come into a new environment. Can't just start barking and being aggressive. Give him two to three days and you can't near him. Boerboel are very intelligent breed.

This dog just killed another chick this afternoon and I've called the vet guy to come pick up his Mongrel
