Africa spring is about to start, Arab spring will be a child play to what will happen. Our so called leaders should stop treating us as if we are not human, from the suffering of cashless policy to subsidy remover and you think it will go well with people that struggle and yet not able to afford 3 comfortable square meals per day. Whosoever is in support of subsidy remover is evil. The so called president or government should reduce the money spent on politicians holding post and make our refineries start working before talking about subsidy remover |

[quote author=Penguin2 post=123585169] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZxPCWB0cb8 There’s limit to what a people can take. When you push and push and push the people to a certain level, they will get to a point they will start to not only resist your push but also start to push back. That’s the situation in Senegal right now. Since taking office in 2012, Macky Sall, the country’s president, has played a vendetta kind of politics and consistently used instruments of government to clamp down on oppositions and even disqualify leading opposition candidates from standing for elections just so that he can easily retain power. This has led to over 400 political prisoners serving jail terms over different kind of trumped up charges. But this time around, the people seem to have had enough and has taken to the streets. What is interesting in the video above however, is that Senegalese soldiers who were most likely deployed to clamp down on the protesters are seen in the clip waving at the protesters just as the protesters hailed the soldiers in return. This is totally in contrast to what was witnessed in Nigeria in 2020 when Soldiers were deployed against peaceful protesters in Lekki, Lagos, and what happened next is what we all already know. I hope Nigeria is watching and taking notes to see and learn that there’s limit to what a people can take before they pushback. you try any protest in the next few months, you will be sacrificed to the gods. |

have lived in Senegal for about 8 years i can tell you that it a matter of time the Senegalese people will bring that president down for the interest of the whole country... They are not like Nigeria were tribalism has finished us... They don't tribalism in that country citizen identify them self as Senegalese first before tribe or religion infact in the only country in Africa that has not had a military coup but i see one coming soon if the president don't step down... The citizen of other African country are serious about their country and those that lead them but here in Nigeria we are so stupid and hopeless tribalism has finished us ... But the good thing is that Buhari tenure has divided us more and tinubu will perfect it so that everyone eyes will then be clear... the problem that will come n Nigeria in the future will be like world war two |

Their president has been known with jailing of main opposition leader before general election, this will enable him to win easily, I think this is third attempt of him doing that, it boomeranged now because Senegalese' were tired of his government. Hence, they are ready to stand against his over staying at the helm of affairs their country. |

I have long realised that the black man cannot fashion a prosperous society for himself. Once you put two Negros together and a task to save themselves you have just done the opposite. |

Kingpele:I remember the time of a quote or jokes "wahala, wahala and wahala" Most people have never see wahala. Some will just type and politician uses their destiny to play. Oshiomole as NLC leader uses our destiny then and later he became governor abi. Some still remain where they are till today. Demonstrations in many part of the world always yield fruit but it can never in Nigeria because of level of education, religion, tribe etc. I have been joining demonstration since 90s today what is the dividend. Most time this fuel wahala. Some will tell you that government should put things in place before removing subsidy abi. The country is a DEBTOR. So they should keep burrowing to pay and indirectly taxing us heavily to pay debt. The future of Nigeria go here wuen. I pity most!!!. People in city enjoys but those outside city usually know whatsup . Immediately wahala start, food market closeup, PHCN will shut down power, doctors will not go to work, Armed rubbery etc Let me tell you what happened after four days of ENDSARS and during Jonathan demonstration. Armed robbers started knocking each house telling everybody to bring out what they have or else they will kill. NLC should use the strength to fight for salary increament. But if people want wahala, they should start jt on Wednesday. |
