INEC Lawyer Challenges Atiku's Election Win: Is 25% In Abuja Required?" by Glimpsetv(op):
During today's tribunal hearing, the lawyer representing INEC emphasized that Atiku Abubakar cannot be declared the winner of the last election because he only scored 15% of the votes in the FCT. Does this indicate that obtaining a minimum of 25% in Abuja is a mandatory requirement?

Here is the verbatim exchange that took place between the lawyer representing INEC and the witness from the PDP:

INEC: You will agree with me that Atiku scored 15% in FCT

Witness: Yes

INEC: So that means he cannot be made the president since he did not score 25% in FCT

Witness: Even Tinubu did not score 25% and u made him president.

.. but Tinubu got more qualification than Atiku and Obi. Tinubu has majority votes, but Atiku and Obi failed to meet that and Tinubu had 2/3rd of states in Nigeria, but others failed to meet up. Tinubu remains most qualified among them, Obi and Atiku should go and sort themselves out first
